After some lurking, I thought I would join up and try to be a part of the community here!

I don't have a cham to introduce yet, but I am in the process of setting up various critters to feed when I do bring a little fella home. My current plan are silkworms and crickets, but I just learned about feeding roaches today. Maybe after I get set up, I can broaden my culinary choices for future chams as I learn about them!

I'm very excited to continue to learn with everyone here!

Welcome to the forums. This is a great place to learn about chameleons and meet other chameleon keepers. What kind of chameleon are you planning to get?

Well hello there and welcome! You have certainly come to the right place to learn about chameleons! I have been on here a little less than 5 1/2 yrs and I would say most everything I know I have learned on this forum. Don't be shy about asking questions! If you don't feel like starting a thread, you can also send a private message to any member, myself included. Be sure and post pictures when you little one arrives!

Thank you both for the warm welcome! It's definitely a treasure trove of knowledge, it's relieving that there's such a large community.

As for kind, I'm planning for a panther chameleon! I haven't decided which type, but the boyfriend is pushing me towards this brilliant orange fella. And I definitely will post pictures! I'm going to be able to make one of those growth timeline sort of thing!
