Do you suppose a tiny chameleon in the wild drowns while drinking droplets?
A little ingenuity will ensure that droplet size is controlled anyway. Given how crucial hydration is for tiny animals, Id say yes.
Its one thing to be very cautious, but I do think logic and commonsense are vastly underrated here quite often. :)
 
I'm sure it's happened before... I don't know, I've just been recommended to not do that in the past, as have others, by people who raise babies.... I figured they would know best but I suppose if babies died often from it then the species would have a problem. But then if none ever had died/choked/drowned that way they wouldn't recommend against it. I've made my mind up, since it isn't in the wild and we want it to have no chance of dying so young I would take the cautious route and not do it, though i'd spray The cage a little extra. Of course it is ultimately not my choice.
