Help? Can anyone tell me what this is?

It was smaller before and now it's gotten this big. Can any one help and tell me if this is normal or how can I resolve this?

i think u need to get to a vet asap!!!

that may be the thing they call a prolapse, needs med attention fast!

No, don't worry! That's a sperm plug. You can either gently pull it out or just wait for him to get rid of it with his next poop.

All it is is dry sperm that collects in their hemipenes, nothing to worry about.

If it were red/pink and fleshy, then you need to worry. But this booger looking thing is nothing.

If you are smarter now you are better than a lot of us. We all over react when it s our Cham and we don't know what the problem is. You will get used to it.:)

That's ok! I just hope the OP didn't run out to the vet freaking out! lol
We all have to learn somewhere.

For the educational purposes of everyone, here's a photo of a prolapse on a tiny baby chameleon. Notice that it looks fleshy, this is an intestinal prolapse:

Poor lil guy. Did it recover being that small?

No, there was nothing to do with him being so tiny. A larger chameleon definitely stands a good chance of surviving and doing well, but when they're only this small it's really hard. He was too small to even give a dose of anti-inflammatory medicine!
