Help! Chameleon Fell and is now limp

If I had to guess the lesson here is just that bad things happen sometimes. A 5 ft fall usually doesn't seem to kill chameleons. This one must have cracked a rib or something and damaged a lung. I suppose maybe you could look into the supplementation, maybe her bones were weak. But really, bad luck...

I am sorry that you lost your chameleon. I don't think she died from the fall. I think she fell because she was ill and could not hold on any longer. She looked more sickly from the photo, instead of just injured. I have had chameleons fall from higher than 5 feet and not onto carpet and they were fine. It could have been the fall, but I in my opinion, I don't think so.
