Hello, i just bought a panther chameleon that is 8 months old and his tounge is not sticking to the crickets. His aim is right on them, it just wont stick? Help! should i feed him fruit flies? Please reply.

Again, for now.. Try to hand feed him until the problem is resolved. Other than that I hope someone else replies.

I would contact the breeder or the store you bought him from. Seems like there is some kind of problem.

For now I would start with hand feeding..

Your supplements are off. It looks as if he is not getting any. His feeders need to be dusted with plain calcium daily and calcium with d3 twice a month and a multivitamin twice a month.

You mention repeshay super foods can you be more specific? He doesn't need the red light at night. Chams have a parietal eye that can detect light at night. He also needs a temp drop at night so he can slow down his metabolism in order to sleep. It can safely reach loe 60s.

Maybe your to heavy on the dust and he's not getting good contact. Try a horned worm without any dust.

+1 My cham also had this issue when there is too much dust on the feeder. It sort of breaks the suction on the feeder. Try an un-dusted cricket and see how it sticks.

Why are you using an infra red light at night? Jackson chameleon love cold nights, it'll make them sleep deeper and better

Not sure about the rest or what is causing the problem.. sorry
