Whats up everyone. I need some help deciding what set-up i should really go with. there are pros and cons for each setup for me and i really need some help deciding. I have an automatic mister + Dripper and these are 2x2x4 repti-breeze screen cages

Anyway here is the first set-up :::::

This is the Golden Pothos(hanging) and an schefflera arboricola "Umbrella Tree" (on the Bottom) I like this one it looks really good, there is lots of cover, lots of foliage for drinking, better with keeping up humidity. But its hard to find them sometimes, hard to see if they have been eating, and most of all, cleaning up droppings in there cage is very hard with this set-up because the plants fill up so much of the cage. Also the mister cant really get past the canopy very much.

and the second set-up

This one is just the Golden Pothos(hanging). This one is really easy to clean the floor and the plants, just overall east to keep the cage clean. But there is obviously not nearly as much cover, ect.

I just cant decide. Wheat does everyone else think?????????????

I would go with the second one as it provides much more space for the chameleon to climb around. And it also looks more open and aerial.

ok thats one vote for the second set-up ,,, anyone else have any input

Also if i go with the second set-up i can have this outside their cage to climb on when their out. These plant are so big they make my table look like a kiddie table lol

The Pathos will fill the cage quickly, especially if you have a 6500k grow light in your fixture. The advantages to Pathos are floor cleaning, will take massive water from misting systems, creates horizontal pathways, and doesn't drop leaves eventually like Scheffelara and Ficus. The only negative is you need to trim it as it grows so fast!

Now…how to get stable horizontal branches in your brand new free range. Nail 2 by 4's to the edges of all your tables...

CHEERS!

thats 2 for the second set-up ,,,, anyone else. Im thinking ill be sticking with the second set-up by the looks of it

I'd go with the second set up.

You contact Dragon Strand and look into buying the dragon ledges. With those attached to your cage you could secure the branches properly and not damage your screen cage. I've got a few and they work well.

second one. those schefflera are freggin huge. how is it that everyone can find small ficus or large arboricola but i could only find a 4ft ficus?? lol my arboricola are like 1 ft they look so tiny. i bought a pothos but it needed some tlc first and i want to hang it and im not sure how to hang it without damaging the cage. also WHERE are you getting the long thin dowel sticks if i may ask?!?! i would love some
