Help! Dubias escaping my chameleon enclosure

My chameleon won't cup feed anymore he loves to hunt. I feed him Dubia, but some how they are escaping out of my chameleons enclosure. I dont have any substrate on the bottom just 2 large potted plants. My enclosure is hand made that I bought from someone. The screen is just stapled to the wood frame. Any ideas how to keep the dubia in his cage?

Hmm try using a large plastic container so he can climb down to hunt them

Seal the edges where they're escaping..?

Depending on how far apart the staples are, my guess is squeezing past the screen between staples. Good luck, sound like one of my nightmares

Hot glue gun the seams

Lay down a good sized bead of hot glue and use a flat ice cream popsicle stick to push the glue into the mesh to contact the wood. Otherwise your glue will just harden on top of the mesh and then it's not fun taking it off
