HELP!!! Female not laying her eggs.

If anyone is still reading this thread, I had a girl that just laid over the weekend. It took her 3 days. The first day she dug a starter hole, covered it up and went back up into the leaves. I wet the sand more and put the bucket back in. The second day she did the same thing. Third day I gave her a round container instead of a rectangular one and made sure the sand held its shape when I made a ball and she laid. Girls can be fussy. They will lay but you have to be sure to meet their requirements. LOL Go figure.

It took her 5 days to lay. I ended up mixing the pete moss in with the sand and pre digging a hole and the she came in from the oth side and dug her own hole. LOL

Congrats on the eggs. How's she doing? Were the eggs fertile? Did she cover the hole and go back to her branch afterwards? She's a veiled, right? 22 eggs is a very small clutch for a veiled. I hope she finished laying.

It's her first clutch. She is a Veiled and she was bred with a male. She repacked the hole she dug really well. Nice and hard. She was really sucked in so I know she has no more eggs. She packed the hole and went back onto the branch. I move her back to her terrarium today and she fed like normal. She is such a character.
