Help...i don't know what else to do

My concern with the power sun is when you raise it another couple inches higher, that makes the UV that much farther away. If they are getting outside for a minimum of an hour several times a week, getting the UV needed to survive becomes less of an issue.

This is one, of several, reasons I do not recommend the "2-in-1" bulbs.

@Pindingy: I'm not sure on the warranty you are referring to, but UVB bulbs, on avg, have a shelf life of 6 months. I'm quite certain that the 1yr warranty would not apply in this sense, or we'd all have permanently free bulbs ^^

I personally do not recommend a 2 in 1 either. I know alot of people use them without issue.
But Krunch came to me with MBD, and had been raised with the powersun. I attribute his health issues at least in part due to the powersun. It was too hot to sit under, therefore he didnt get the neccesary heat requirements to digest food properly or the necessary uv for proper calcium utilization.

He is a different color thought from the usual Nosey, completely lime green, old school, no blue to be seen on him and that I believe has an affect on how much heat he can take.
again, just my personal experience,
anne
