Well, in fact, I do not own it yet, but he is fostered at a friend of mine.
I will upload some photos, problem is that I do not know alot about the chameleon. I looked up on wikipedia and some forums but with lesser succes.

I do not know if it is male or female, exactly what kind of chameleon it is (I vote for Furcifer pardalis)

What exactly should I feed it (are fishing worms or grasshoppers ok?)

Any special needs...

P.S. Sorry if I posted on the wrong section but did not know where to ask for some advice

ok well to know male or female take a shot at his butt, to see hat type it is take a shot of its head and its body in close up, do not fish insects you need to buy crickets at the oct store and you should get different types of worms so they do not get tired of the same meal every day etc etc etc stay on this forum, you will learn more about chameleons than you will anywhere else , i give you my word for i, i don't recommend looking up chameleons on wiki it could be fake facts you know

2.I will upload ASAP a close-up of it's heand and body
3.geez you guys are fast

Its definitely a male...not a panther chameleon for sure.
What country are you in?

It will need insects...best bought at a store since I can't tell you what ones in your area would be safe to feed it if collected outside.

It needs water...can be provided by misting the plants in the cage or by making a dripper that drips at about the rate of one or two drips per second. You can use a tall deli cup with a tiny hole punched in the bottom of it.

You need a cage, proper lighting (UVB, especially)...and lots more which we can tell you after you get the basics looked after.

Well I need some food for the upcoming days until I will find a constant food suply, I am willing to spoil the little lizard with the best insecty treats

OK, so I live in Romania (satu mare), I talked to the owner, and he has the chams for 2 days now and are not really interested in food, is that something seroius or normal?
The guy is experienced in fish and exotic animal but never had a chameleon

Crickets and Locusts are best, easiest to gutload with healthy food like dandelion leaves and butternut squash. It's important to give the insects some healthy food before feeding them to the Chameleon. The best uv light is a tube one called Reptisun 5.0.
A reptiglo does the same thing, and is not quite as good, but is usually cheaper.

Sometimes a chameleon won't eat for a couple of days after its moved to a new place...but being also, some common chameleons brumate/hibernate...depending on where they come from.
Its more important that it drinks than eats for a few days.

Also...forgot to mention that it needs to be kept at a temperature in the low 80's.

One more stupid question:

How sould I build the terrarium? is it a problem if they are on soil with some branches and tree stuff put inside the acvarium?

Yes. dont do this. The bottom of the terrairum should be bare. Chams wil sometimes accidently (or on purpose) eat the stuff, called substrate.
For any live plants you will have in the cage, put large river rocks over the dirt so the cham cant get to the dirt.

sorry for posting so many short replies but I am talking to the owner atm and we have lots of unanswered questions, can the light be on over night?

is it a bad ideea to keep 2 champ in the same terrarium? cause atm there are 2 chams (not sure if they are the same species)
