Welcome! Please go to the health clinic section, find a sticky titled 'how to ask for help' and fill it out. Come back and post it here, along with some pictures.

Sorry about that.....Give him time to acclimate. He sees you as a big predator and chams don't always adjust quickly to change. Give him a few days to get use to you and most of all give him space....Make sure his cage is in a somewhat secluded area so he can be left in peace to settle in. Have you done your research as far as cage supplies, temps, etc? So that you know all that is correct.

Yeah ive got him a really nice git up i guess ill put him in another room for about a week and does humidity make them stressed because i have yet to get the target humidity

He can take up to and maybe more than a week to get fully used to his new environment it jsut depends on your chameleon. Make sure there are plenty of leaves in there so he feels safer.

Any husbandry issue that isn't correct can cause stress. It's really hard esp if you're in a cold climate to keep humidity levels up. Do you have live plants in his enclosure? Make sure you "clean" them before putting them in. And misting often will help increase them as well. Make sure you let the area dry out though in between mistings.

Well your from Texas so cold shouldn't be an issue but extreme dry heat could be a problem. Although i 've only been to Texas once and i honestly don't remember if it was "dry" heat or "moist" heat. Only that it was fr.......n HOT. lol. Especially in July. You could always try putting a humidifier in his room.
