Hello!
Welcome to Chameleon Forums!!!

Chameleons eat insects. Bees, flys, crickets, roaches, caterpillars, spiders, moths, ect.

Where do you live?

You will need to be able to catch it, or buy it a variety of food for it to be healthy. If you caught it in the wild, Id recommend returning it to where you found it though, thats just my opinion.

Are there any readily available insects you can catch?
If so, let us know what they are, and we can tell you if they are safe to feed or not.;)

Again, welcome to the forums! :)

Thank you
i think i can easily catch flys and spiders but i don't think he/she able to eat roaches (only small size ones)

i live in Syria... finding this chameleon was the happiest thing that happened to me for month.... i don't think i could easily let he/she go.

5 minutes ago... i caught a fly, removed the wings, put it on the plant and waited

and HALLELUJAH my little chameleon ate it :D

thank you... i didn't think it would be as easy as this

oh... how could i tell if it is a male or female??

I almost feel like were being trolled. Looking for a cham for 2 years and have no idea what to feed it? Sounds odd.

Well, actually feeding a chameleon is the HARDEST part of keeping them, IMO lol

Not all insects are safe. Some are toxic, some can physically injure the chameleon(biting, stinging). They can carry bacteria, and parasites as well.
So there is risk in feeding wild insects.

I feed plenty of wild insects myself, just letting you know the facts;)

Also, chameleons have specific nutritional needs.
Feeders need to be "gutloaded" with healthy foods, that have appropriate nutritional values.

Here is the BIBLE on chameleon nutrition, and gutloading:https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/

I am glad that the chameleon ate though :)
Watching them eat is the best!

You dont have to remove the wings of the fly, if the cham is in an enclosure. They can zap them right in the air;)

Do you know what kind of chameleon this is?
How are you keeping it? (caging lighting ect.)

yes i will start gathering some :)
