help my cham. laid its eggs and i dont know what to do with the eggs she burried them and a i dug until i saw one egg then i covered it whith the mud. now i put my cham in the cage what do i do next

Your female will need a nice long warm misting and a good long drink. She should eat several well gut load feeders that are heavily dusted in calcium without D. If you have liquid calcium then a drop of liquid calcium each day for the next few days. It's very important that she eats.

Was she mated? If she was mated then you will need to incubate the eggs.

i dont know i bauht her and the guy thought she was a male. so for shure he wouldnt know. what do i do with the eggs?? and what does incubate mean??

Yes, she needs to eat. If the eggs aren't fertile you can just throw them out. If you're not sure if she was mated then you could incubate the eggs just incase.

Below is how I incubate eggs.

I incubate the eggs the same way that Lynda (kinyonga) does. Put them in a plastic Tupperware shoe box with about 3 inches of moist vermiculite and keep them in a closet where the temps with be around 76 degrees. I punch two tiny holes in the lid. To test for moisture, take a fist full of the vermiculite and squeeze it, if no more than a drop or two of water comes out then the moisture level should be okay. Do not turn the eggs as you move them from where they were laid to the container. Lay them in rows about an inch apart in all directions in shallow dents made with your thumb in the vermiculite. Put the lid on and place them in a dark place where the temperature is between 72-78 F. Moisture will form on the sides of the container and underside of the lid. It takes about 8 to 9 months for the eggs to hatch. It they are not fertile they will mold over in a couple of weeks.

wow... she is of age to lay eggs and he didn't even know it was a girl!? Yikes! Just curious, but did you check your set up here on the forums already or are you just going by what the person said to do and had her set up in? If you are only going by what the person said, I would definitely double check your husbandry here.

For anyone else trying to help, it might be handy to go over previous threads about this pretty cham. Shee had been thought to be wc so the eggs are most likely fertile. Also the guy that sold it to the op has given very little info or support do its great he found the forums :)

Where are you from? If in the USA you can check in any store with a gardening area (Walmart/Homedepot/Lowe's, etc) If outside USA please post area so someone from there can let you know.:)
