Help my Jackson is sluggish and won't eat!

Please help. I have a young male jackson Cham roughly 6months old. I have had him for almost 3 months now and the last 3 days he hasn't touched any food at all. He has been sleeping during the day (I know this is not good) and he looks like he can't support his own wait on the branch, I've never seen him like this before. I'm really worried he is sick. He's still drinking water fine but somethings not right. What should I do??

Fill out the Help form.... We need to know as much information as possible.

In the mean time, start looking for a local exotics vet. Something isnt right if he is sleeping during that day. A lot of things will cause that behavior though such as temps out of whack, lights on at night, improper supplementation, dehydration, the list goes on.

• Your Chameleon - male Jackson Chameleon, about 6-8 months old, I've had him for 3 months.
• Handling - not very often, maybe once a week.
• Feeding - I feed him mainly crickets because that's all that the petco her sells. His diet varies between 5-10 crickets each day. I feed him in the morning only. I am guy-loading the crickets with vegetables but I could be more diligent with it.
• Supplements - I dust a few of his crickets with repti calcium every so often but he does t seem to like it.
• Watering - I water him multiple times a day with a spray bottle. He will sit there and drink the droplets from the spray as well as off the leaves for a good while.
• Fecals - his poops look normal, dark round pellets. No he's never been tested for parasitesz
• History - he was found in the wild.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - it's a reptibreeeze cage all mesh and dimensions are 16x16x30
• Lighting - the lights are zoomed one daylight blue 60watt and one ReptiSun 5.0 fluerecent 13 watt. His lights go on about 8am and off around 6pm.
• Temperature - The temp ranges from 80-90. At night it only drops a few degrees lower than 80. I have a digital themometer. I live in Hawaii and this summer is really hot.
• Humidity - I don't have anything to test humidity levels in his cage. I spray his whole cage with water multiple times a day.
• Plants - only fake plants in his cage. I tried a live on but it died.
• Placement - His cage is in the corner of our bedroom. We have the ceiling fan on constantly. The top of the cage is about 6ft off the floor. It's up against a window which the blinds are always closed.
• Location - Big Island, Hawaii

Current Problem - hasn't eaten anything in 4 days now. Sleeping during the day, looks weak and sluggish.

it can be a protazoa infection due to it being wc. cysts usually sit in the intestinal lining until they feel like the host is healthy enough to sustain them. this can be a newly starting case of giardia. if you have a microscope available to you at home or in a school lab i suggest you use it to do a fecal examination. if not you can ask a vet to do one for you.
