My panther is leaking from his vent.. an opaque white goop is coming out.

Could it be a plug?

I will be uploading pictures from my phone shortly, my camera's 40$ batteries died right when I snapped a picture.

Good to know he's just becoming more of a man rather then having to deal with a parasite-filled panther. (Not that I thought he was.)

Howdy Sabrina,

They'll look like this when they get overloaded:

Straight out of the Reptile Medical book:

From my Veiled. They were stuck but easily came out when gently pulled:

My panther had the same thing when he was about 6 months, the first time it kind of hung on him for a while as yours did, but now I find white spec/smears in various places on his branches, screen, etc, so I guess he's learned how to rub them off himself.

It was around the same time that he started showing off his bare hemipenis to us...so you have that to look forward to:rolleyes:

Yeah there was some smeared on one of the sticks in his cage. Now it's disappeared somewhere in his cage.
