Hi I am new to this and trying to figure out how this works but I have a male veiled chameleon. The last couple days he has seemed less active. Not eating as much. And now one of his eyes are swollen. He was eating about 10 or more crickets a day. Now it's been about 5? I dust them with calcium every day and calcium with D3 ones a week. I can't get him to even try anything else I have wax worms and super worms but he doesn't seem interested in anything. He is in a 18x18x36 mesh cage. Stays about 80F-85F I have a dripper and mist him 3 times a day. His poop/urate look normal. What am I doing wrong?
He is a veiled chameleon 2-3 months old. Iv had him about 3 weeks.
I handle him about every other day.
He eats crickets pretty well. I dust them with calcium everyday and calcium with D3 once a week. He won't eat anything else. Iv put wax worms and super worms in a feeder but he won't touch them.
I have a dripper, and mist him 3 times a day. I tried a shower for him yesterday and he seemed to really like that.
His droppings seem normal. Dark brown and white.
Cage is an 18x18x36 screen inclosure. The lighting came with the cage. It ranges from 80-85 degrees. I don't know the humidity levels.
I just have plastic plants and vines in there for him until I can find non toxic live plants.
The cage is between my living room and dining room in a high traffic area.
We are in Utah.

I got him at petco. Which I hear now is bad. But he has seemed healthy and happy. It's been the last few days he hasn't had as big of an appetite and I'm worried he's not getting good nutrition because he won't eat anything I put in to subsidize his nutrition? He doesn't seem as active and now one eye is shut and doesn't really open. When he tried opening it last night it bulged out really far. Then kinda of sinks in and shuts?

Loss of appetite and will only eat crickets. I'm worried he's not getting the nutrition he needs because he is a picky eater.
