help needed asap

hi everyone in new to this site and im looking for advice please

I have 4 chams in my care that have been rescued,

I have an adult Yemen Cham that had bad mbd and was told that it wouldn't make adult hood but my friend and I kept him growing and he is now doing great.

but the problem im having it with 2 panther chams

one is in a exo terra 45x 45 x 45cm with 5% uv ceramic heat on a day and night thermostat with a night time temp drop she is very tiny about 4-5 months old I haven't seen her eat for a few days and am starting to worry about her as she is unable to open one of her eyes, unless I give her a warm shower

and it is the same with a slightly older male he is in a different set up a lot bigger than the female, he will eat but only if I put the food in his mouth and he will drink when in the warm shower, he is unable to open either of his eyes unless showered

the male has been on antibiotics but has made no difference

I have read that it could be to do with the uv being too bring and advised to turn the uv off for a few days to see if it makes any difference but it has not

does anyone else have any ideas what I can do to help them?

the vet said to keep trying the antis but don't want to if there not going to help them

I don't see why they are on antibiotics based on your information. Are there any obvious symptoms of infection? Antibiotics won't do anything to treat MBD.

Without pictures we can't verify MBD either. A little more detailed information can help us.

I don't understand what type of UV light you are using. Is it a compact fluorescent UV bulb? Is it a ceramic heat emitter? What brand is it? How old is it?

MBD is also triggered by malnutrition so we need to know what you feed your insects, what specific products you use to dust the feeders and how often you dust with each product.

The fact that the chams start opening their eyes and drinking suggests that they are dehydrated and keeping their eyes shut because they are irritated. What is the humidity level in your cages? How often do you mist the chams and how often do they get a chance to drink until they are full? Describe your cage setups....live plants?

cham 1 - Mr Bojangles - true blue nosy be panther, male, he's 8 to 9 months old, I've had about 6 months.
cham 2 - tinker bell - true blue nosy be panther, female, she's 5 to 6 months old, I've had her 3 months.

cham 1 - when fit and well every other day, in his condition every day to shower him.
cham 2 - same as cham one but on opposite days.

Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
cham 1 - larger ones from medium cricket brown and blacks, small locust, meal worms, gut loaded with bug gel, cricket food and I also give the carrot, broccoli, apple and mixed leaves
cham 2 - smaller of the medium crickets brown and blacks, small locust and mini meal worms, gut loads the same as above

Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
both chams have the same dust its komodo premium chameleon dusting powder 5 times a week

Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
both chams are connected to the monsoon rs4000 every 4 hours for 20 seconds and I hand spray when there lights come on and before there due to go off, monsoon turned off over night .

Fecal Description - Briefly note colours and consistency from recent droppings.
no change in size or consistency of there poo brown with a bit of white in they are both still pooping

Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
cham 1 - no
cham 2 - no

cham 1 - has recently been moved from an exo terra 45x45x60 to a home made glass viv with mesh roof 60x60x80
cham 2 - is in a 45x45x45 exoterra

Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
cham 1 - 60w exo terra spot lamp 2 weeks old on a habistat dimming stat, 5% compact uvb bulb 3 months old in an exo terra compact light unit heat lamp set to be on 8am till 8pm I turn the heat down with a 5degree drop over night uvb on for 12 hours 8am till 8pm on a timer
cham 2 - komodo black ceramic heat emitter 100w on a luck reptile pro2 night and day thermostat, 5% compact uvb 3 months old in an exo terra compact light unit, heat lamp set to be on 8am till 8pm with a 5degree drop over night uvb on for 12 hours 8am till 8pm on a timer

Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
cham 1 - thermo stat is set at 35 degree c 8 am till 8pm and I lower the temp with a 5 degree drop over night
cham 2 - thermostat is also to 35 degrees c with an automatic 5 degree drop at night

Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
I have a humidity dial on the inside of the viv they both seem to sit at 40%

Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
not using any live plats at the moment I was waiting till they were a bit bigger before putting in live plant

Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
cham 1 - is directly behind the sofa on a coffee we walk past it daily as the walk way is between the sofa and the viv. not near any fans, or vents
cham 2 - is in the same line as cham 1 with a stack of 3ft viv's between (corn snakes) again not near any fans or vents.

Location - Where are you geographically located?
we are in Somerset united kingdom

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.
cham 1 - suffered with an eye infection when he was younger when we first got him from what we think was a stray cricket bite put on antibiotics and it cleared up nicely, he now is very inactive compared to what he normally is and both of his eyes seem to be stuck together, he will only open them when he is having a warm shower and that's after a few min's of spraying him. he will eat if I put the food in his mouth and he will take in water when im spraying him.
cham 2 - again looks like both her eyes are glued shut but she wont open them after a good warm shower like the male. she will drink when showering but her eyes are now sunken so I would say she is dehydrated. she is now not eating.

I took the male to the vets when it first started and she put him on another course of antibiotics but has had no effect so I am here trying to find experienced keepers to help out and if its a problem with my sets ups to help me change them to make them happier and healthier. im happy to spend the money on them as I don't want to loose either of them or for it to happen to my other panther and Yeman which are both happy and healthy atm and I want them to stay that way

so please any help would be very grateful

Not saying that this is the problem but your temps are a little high. Also your your supplementation is not quite correct.

I would agree with the comment regarding temps, particularly only dropping the temps by 5 degrees at night. The chams should have a more significant temp drop. I don't add any heat at night and they typically go to about 20 degrees C at this time of year. They can tolerate pretty low night temps and should experience a cool, dark overnight period. They should not have light of any kind at night. If it is very cold a ceramic heat emitter (without light) should be used.
