HELP- No UV light for over 2 Weeks

Male panther chameleon who is roughly 9 months old
Cage: 24X24X48
Live plant (ficus) and many vines
Basking temp 80-90 F
Diet:Crickets, mealworms, and super worms (these have been his primary diet for the past two and a half weeks as I just moved)

I am very worried because I have not been able to have a UV light for over 2 weeks. My chameleon appears perfectly healthy and has been near an open window (which has a screen) the entire time. I just plugged in the UV light today but want to make sure he will be alright. He arrived on the 24th of may and the light was plugged in on the 11th.

I have not been able to dust his food for 2 week and have once again began using the multivitamin and calcium with D3.

Also he appears to have some crusty bits around his eyes. Im not sure if this is because of the change in weather (SoCal to East Coast) or sometime else. I'm not sure if this is common.

Any help is very appreciated.

if he got natural sunlight (unfiltered by glass or plastic) as you suggested hes prob better off than he would have been in a cage with lights.
You mention cal w D3 and multivit but no mention of plain Cal, should be plain cal every day and D3/multivit alternated once a week, thats 3 supplements.

Well it looks to me as if the problem you are posting about is resolved. If the rest of the setup is fine then there is probably no problem. 2 weeks without a uv bulb in captivity with little or no natural sun is about 2 weeks from ideal but there is almost certainly nothing to worry about now you have one.
Wet the crustiness when you mist. If it doesn't come off then maybe try to gently wipe it off with a tissue....

Thanks i have been using reptivite w/D3 but will switch to one without D# for four days a week.

Delete. Pointless posting.
