Help !! Plant pesticide!!

Hi,

Right so I bought a devils ivy plant for my
Chameleon, but I haven't changed the soil
As he only rarely climbs out his cage on to it
And today I was watching him go all the way to
The bottom of the plant and caught him shooting
His tounge out at the soil and then I stopped him
And made him climb back up to his cage and I sprayed
Water on the glass and he went straight up and drank it
( I always spray his water, he drinks a lot) I'm so worried he will
Die if he ate some soil what do I do please help!

My Chams name is Dexter and he is about 5months old.

Btw he just did a very big poop! And his urine is very
White also.

He should be ok. Ideally you should change out the soil to organic, but if that is a big hassle, then cover the soil with LARGE river rocks. Rocks large enough for him not to swallow or ones he cannot move to get at the soil.
