My panther chameloens tail looks like it’s rooting . What should I do ? Can someone please help me

I think it’s usually caused by some sort of injury or if shed gets stuck and constricts the tail, cutting off circulation.

The tails often get pinched and then that portion dies off…but gangrene can set in and cause more problems.
A poor shed can also lead to this problem. There are other causes as well.
Best to see a good chameleon vet.
