Okay, so I took my Veiled Chameleon to the vet the other day to get his weird bumps checked out, the vet said that it was probably broken ribs or a calcium deficiency and that he will be fine..But, today when I got home around 6 oclock, he was roaming around, about a few minutes later he was sleeping! I cant seem to wake him up either! The time he normal goes to sleep is at 7, but all the lights are on a stuff! I was kind of petting him trying to get him to wake up but he didnt respond and his eyes are shut, I know he is alive though because i can see him breathing and hes gripping the vine that he is on. Hes in more of a hidden lower part in his cage that he normally doesnt go. Is it bad that he wont wake up?? Im really scared! His heat lamp burned out today and Im getting him a new one tomorrow, but I dont think thats what is wrong because my house is pretty warm. Im really scared about his sleeping right now, please help!!!:(:(:(

Hopefully, he is just stressed out from all the handling and the strange environment during the vet visit and needed some extra rest.
If his heat lamp burned out today, he may have gotten mixed up as to when bedtime should be.
In skimming your past posts, I see that you keep a light on all night.
That is harmful for chams whose vision allows them to see light in ranges that we can't see.
He needs 12 hours of darkness and 12 hours of a regular household bulb for basking so he can digest his food and absorb its nutrients, as well as a UV bulb like Reptisun 5.0
Once my chams go to sleep, I stay out of their darkened room, so they have an uninterrupted restorative sleep.
Chams have very specific care requirements and if these aren't met, chams get sick, etc.

Your vet visit sounds a bit strange.
The vet said he might have broken ribs or might have MBD but did not recommend treatment?

Please check out this website which has great info on veiled cham care and ensure that your cham's habitat is meeting his needs:

Hope this helps and hope your cham is OK.

Lots of chams go to sleep a bit before bedtime, especially if the sun had already gone down, or was close to it when you found him.

wha concerns me is the vet saying hell be fine with a calcium deficiency.
MBD doesnt just 'go away'
it has to be treated, monitored, and any damage done is permanent.

I would suggest filling this out so we can what could be going on.
also, photos of him and your cage would help alot.

This morning I found him almost dead twitching on the bottom of his cage, imediatly I took him to the vet, they said he was cold. A little while later they came out with him and he was crawling. Now im home but they are keeping him for the day to give him extra nutrients and keep him in a heat room thing. He should be fine now and Thank you so much for the replys, im really worried about Tacoma.

Referring to his previous vet visit, the vet told me to keep giving him extra calcium in case it is either the broken ribs or the calcium problem. Either way, the vet said that he will be fine as long as I keep doing what I need to do. And, about the heat lamp, i now turn it off at night and his sleeping schedule is 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. which is about 11 hours.. Im doing everything possible to help my little guy.

Well it's obvious that you care very much for your cham and will do all you can for him.
Hopefully the vet's intensive care will give Tacoma the boost he needs for his health to turn around.
A lot of people get annoyed when they're asked to fill out all the answers to the https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/ questions.
They don't realize that it really is the best way for people to determine if there is something in a cham's care that needs to be changed in order to keep a cham healthy or help him to recover.
With the answers to all the questions in one place it makes it far easier to give worthwhile advice.

How did the vet decide this was a calcium problem? Was it based on your husbandry or just the look of the bumps? We could offer a lot more advice with some details from the "How to ask..." form, and pictures of the enclosure would be helpful, too. I would love to help out if I had a bit more to go by!!! Hope he is doing better. :)

Okay, I put some picture of him up in the gallery because I couldn't figure out how to just put them on this post ( I'm really new to this). He just got home from the vet and I got him new crickets, a stronger heat light, a potho plant for his cage. Also, I cleaned out his entire cage while he was gone so he is now happy.
