Hey Guys-
I need some help determining if my females are pregnant. I have two that I am questioning-
#1 I am pretty sure that she is gravid considering her appearance, however, based on my research, females show gravid coloration when around males and return to "chillin" shades when they are returned to isolation. She was in my males enclosure for about a week. Although, I witnessed copulation / or attempted copulation I am not 100% certain that it was successful as my male was clearly learning what to do as this is his first time around so he instinctively knew to mount but then he got confused. I did witness penetration at least once, however, it was for a very short period of time. I was waiting on a change in coloration before I removed her, but, that never occurred. She continued to display her happiest of colors while in his cage. Also, why I left her in there bc I wasn't 100% sure she was into him bc she would sometimes gape at him before he mounted, but, nothing more violent than that- no hissing, no angry colors. And he NEVER did anything angrily towards her. However, towards the end of the week it turned into a different story- not only did she become increasingly violent- knocking him off his basking spots and even biting him and shaking crazy... He retaliated as he hadn't done before ramming her like a bull and throwing her off his railing. (don't worry, I did not leave them together long after witnessing the violence and her biting him was the last straw and occurred while I wasn't home and she was removed that day) AND THEN when I placed her into her own cage she began displaying gravid coloration... She is normally light green with bright orange striped (she is from an orange bloodline, making her gorgeous but completely unlike the potentially gravid colors she is now displaying all the time except when held) She hasn't gone off food yet and doesn't appear to be showing any other signs of carrying eggs other than her coloration. So, I would love to get you guys opinion. I am going to post pics of her and label them as Sherbét.
#2 I'm questioning the pregnancy of my high translucent female that I was originally going to breed with my non translucent male before making the decision to pair her with a high trans (non related) male. She was placed in his cage a total of 5 times for about 30 min each. It is the same male that successfully penetrated Sherbét, however, this was before he learned something was supposed to happen after mounting (I think...) But she is freakin' HUGE. That being said, she eats more than anything I have ever seen. She is 5 months old, and based on my research I decided to go with the methodology of allowing juveniles all the food they want and restricting amount of food beginning at 1 year. She literally eats 30-40 1/4" to 1/2" crickets a day (if that is the feeder- or the equivelent of dubias, super worms, mantids, or a mixture of feeders with some meal worms, wax worms or silkworms) PLUS eats Pothos and Umbrella Tree like it is going out of style. (also, any input as to whether I made a bad choice of going in this direction as opposed to not allowing her to eat until she is content would be much appreciated) So- I originally just thought "this girl is a beast and growing bc of all the food she eats" BUT I just wanted to make sure so I don't end up having an egg bound Cham.. I would die. So, I am going to post her photos as well and label them as Fiona. Please let me know what you think.
I appreciate any advice you guys have to offer. I am new to this, but, I am trying my very best to be the best chameleon parent possible, so I want to make sure that I don't do anything stupid along the way. (I am on here like every day doing research and finally decided to sign up and inquire

EDIT___ It did not allow me to label my attachments so Sherbét it the 1st one (I am assuming, that is how I uploaded) but she is the one with the green spots. Fiona is the translucent w/ trans legs and a dark spot on her head.
