Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.
he has a swallen foot i just noticed today, he can still squize it and use it to climb and stuff but looks pretty swallen, i have seen him fall quit often accually whitch im thinking could be the problom. i read that pulling them from branches could cause there nail's to be pulled out or somthing around that area. but i never take him out unless he climbs on my hand when i open his cage, he loves to free rang so he always comes to me when i open his door. last time i heard and saw him fall was about 3 days ago. i dont know why he falls so much i have seen him fall more times than all my chams have. i also thhought it could be his cage but i think his cage is not the problom. i got the wood at home depot and the screen at mclendon's hardware store. the screen size is one fourth of an inch. i also posted some pics.

Go to a vet. I had a deremensis male with a similar looking foot. My vet made a small incision and it turned out to be an infection. I had to keep the wound open for about 10 days and treat it with an antiseptic medicine. Difficult treatment, but his foot healed very well.

Good luck!

Hi!

I'm concerned that the chameleon is falling a lot. I suspect there's something deeper going on. Can you describe (or post a picture of) the water fountain? A picture of the overall enclosure would be helpful as well.

In my opinion, your temps are too high. I would have the basking temperature at 80-82 degrees.

I definitely think that Ferdy is right about getting the chameleon to the vet.

i have never seen him fall from the water fauntain so i dont think that would be the problom but it is possible that he sliped once of twice and i didnt notice, yes i have posted some pictures.
ok ill fix there basking temp.
ill will get him to the vet as soon as i can but i am kind of low on cash right now i get paid in 3 days so idk if im going to be able to purchas there antibiotics or what ever is needed for a 10 day treatment if that is what i need to purchas to fix his foot, ill keep this thread updated with his ves visit.
thanks

Does he ever poop in the fountain? How often do you clean the fountain?

My concern is not that he might slip around the fountain, it's that he's getting exposed to bacteria when he drinks from the fountain.
