They are panthers, but being this young, it is impossible to make an educated guess as to what locale they are. Even when they are adults, it can be impossible. There is so much mixed breeding going on with various locales. So, without papers, it is a crapshoot. Do you not have a method of contact with the breeder?

Could be Ankaramibe but like jpowell86 said it's too early to tell. Is that what the breeder told you they were? Does look like some red showing through on the upper male though.

Not to take away from the OP's question...but how many different kinds of Panthers are there? I tried to google it and really didn't get directed to anything that actually lists them.

I think 11 locals but could be more that didn't include hybrids and mixed locals
Is there a list of the different types with a picture to show?(this could be helpful to the OP as well) I was talking with another cham owner and when i mentioned getting a panther, they said what kind...which leads me back to more research lol.

True. They're being housed at someone else's house. I'm trying to identify them correctly because I think he's trying to pull the switcheroo on me with a less expensive breed. I'm trying to make sure they're the ones I purchased and want to take them home and give them a legit exclosure asap!

Yea that's what the breeder told me they were. Is it too early because he's young?

what is he charging u for each if u don't mind me asking I thought panthers were all around the same price

Does that not depend on where u get them more than anything I get there different prices but I think the nicer the sire the more expensive not so much the local for example I've seen amibilobes for 200 and from nicer sires for 350

This has me interested,I bought a panther chameleon at a petco store .the original price was 250.00 bought it black friday 125.00 they never told me what breed ? is there a difference in the breeds ? I'm pretty sure she's female here is a picture if anyone can help
