Help! Wandering cage at night

The article states they can see infra red maybe shorter waves opposed too the longerwaves a CHE produces.
It also says that CHE doesn't produce IR, which it does🤷

Why it matters is if you Google "glassblowers cataract" might be more relevant to another thread recently on eye issues

Thinking -- opportunity to share pics.. :LOL:
Good eye side in both pictures.
After his first shed (which took just over 30 days) good eye opened but other side looked like
3rd ,4th and 5th pics. The eye is open but blind. Some may ask How do you know? I can put anything in front of right side and the eye continues moving but never focuses or reacts to anything (easy for me to sneak up on him) .:) (y)
Picture 5 is the colors he turns when eating citrus leaves. He is not fired up in any of these pictures.
