Help with a tree id

My neighbor gave me this and I'm hoping to use it for the chameleons. Also if I can use it does it require a bunch of sun? I am hoping I can use it in the chameleon room so I'd like to know the light requirement. Thanks!

Ficus Benjamina does have a light requirement, does not like to be moved so will probably lose a lot of leaves at first.

It's a populair plant to put with reptiles but I'd not put it with a veild as they eat plants and it's a bit toxic.

Thanks! It will be for Panthers. So if indoors it will need a 5700k bulb then right?

not a plant guru but i think daylight is from around 6000k to 6700k so people mostly get a 6500k light as it comes closest to natural lighting.

If your enclosure is to high you may need something like an arcadia jungle dawn light that penetrates deeper down.
I'd first try with a normal daylight bulb tho.

Any spectrum between 5,000 and 6,500k is a great choice. I'd consider hanging a quad HO T5, with 2 plant bulbs and 2 UVB bulbs above it, to benefit the tree and the chameleon.

Unfortunately it looks like the tree wont be staying in that spot. My wife was nice enough to let me make a chameleon room so the tree needs to go down there. I think it looks pretty cool in the living room lol it will have better lights down stairs though:notworthy:
