Ficus Benjamina does have a light requirement, does not like to be moved so will probably lose a lot of leaves at first.
It's a populair plant to put with reptiles but I'd not put it with a veild as they eat plants and it's a bit toxic.
not a plant guru but i think daylight is from around 6000k to 6700k so people mostly get a 6500k light as it comes closest to natural lighting. Thanks! It will be for Panthers. So if indoors it will need a 5700k bulb then right?
Any spectrum between 5,000 and 6,500k is a great choice. I'd consider hanging a quad HO T5, with 2 plant bulbs and 2 UVB bulbs above it, to benefit the tree and the chameleon.
That was a really good score.
It's very hard to find the variegated variety with the white on the leaves anymore. Nice.
