Help with rearranging cage!

I have had my mail veiled chameleon for about two weeks now. I have added a lot of plants and other things, but want to rearrange the whole enclosure now to work better. How do I do this without stressing him out? I know I would need to take him out.

Well if you are going to rearrange, do it all at once. Not in pieces. Get everything you want to add it, take out, get a plan.

You will want to take him out (you can use your hand to gently guide him onto a stick). Put him in a non-airtight box with something to hold onto (such as a branch) and cover him with a thin blanket so its nice and dark. He should just go to sleep since there isn't any light.

Do what you need to do in the enclosure, and put him back.

This way its just all once and over with, instead of doing it little by little, and stressing him out for longer.
