Help with Senegal Chameleon lighting....

I am familiar with chameleons as I worked in a pet store for 5 years and owned a veiled Cham years ago. I however was unaware about the lighting not containing UVB. I bought lights at the pet store thinking that they were beneficial only to find out this time around that they were almost as useless as a regular bulb so...... Now I have been researching bulbs for my new Cham and can't decide between them. We are making a custom cage and plan to run 2 bulbs in the day ( I was between the reptiglo 2.0 and than either the 5.0 or 10.0 ) and than a night light and a heat source for night. Both sets on timers of 12 hours. Please advise what you think a out types.
Side note I need to try and make them shorter bubs as the custom cage will hide them from view

I would get the Reptisun 5.0, I have used it the whole time I've had my Senegal (switched every 5-6 months of course) and it's worked perfectly fine. You shouldn't be using any light at night, if it gets below 60 degrees you can get a heat emitter lightbulb found in most petstores, they give off 0 light.

What are the difference between the repti glo and repti sun besides size which in my case is important the repti sun is a lot longer according to website

reptisun and reptiglo both come in a variety of sizes. It depends on what suits your cage. There was some actual research done comparing both lights and the reptisun was found to give off a little more uvb than the reptiglo They are both good to use and most of use the 5.0 tube lights.. Chameleons need darkness to sleep, so no lighs at night at all.
