Help with the sex of my cham

I was just looking on a previous post and i am not certain weather my cham is male or female. would any one be kind enough to help me

This was my suspision, i was in the shop today which i bought her/him from today and there was 2 other males and one female there which were from the same clutch. the 2 males were over double the size of her and alot more colourfull. i was told the cham was a male as it is what i asked for. do femeales require extra care as they are due to get egg bound. Also are the life expectancy any different ?

I would personally love to have a girl.

Girls from 5 (rare) - 8 months of age will begin to produce infertile egg clutches, even if not mated with. You will need to prepare a laying bin for her soon. Please feel free to ask questions on this .

There is a rumor that girls will live a shorter life than males, but it all depends on how well you take care of her and if she is bred at all. Females can live just as long as males

Oki so how would i know when she is egg bound? and how would i go about making somewere for her to lay them ?

She is egg bound if she gets fat with eggs and scratches around but doesn't lay.
