I need some help my cham he keeps climbing on the top of his cage by the light I'm scared he's gonna get seriously burned is there anyway I can make a fire proof something to put around the light if so what? I don't wanna keep my cham from not coming out or exploring

If you are wanting him to come out of his enclosure, offer him more methods other than the track headed towards the lights. Attach some vines or branches that go out of his enclosure and attach to a fake tree for instance. You can be in complete control of where he goes and how.

I wouldn't risk letting him get near the light domes...that can equal some serious burns.

I would set him up a free range!!!

Believe it or not, he will grow out of that phase of wanting to climb upside down under the lights. They can get burned(under the basking, not uvb)), but figure out pretty quickly that it is hot! He does move when he gets up under the basking light, right? Normally mine liked to hang under the uvb upside down as it is still cool under there. I noticed when they got under the basking light they would move pretty fast to get away from the heat. Or if you have the combo uvb and basking all in one then that is a different story!

No lol not underneath the light (he does that to) but he goes on very top of the cage where the light is and cord! That's what I'm worried about. i have the one that holds both heating and light and its pretty hot to the touch. And yes I do have vines and tress outside by his cage to he just chooses to go there
