My thoughts exactly! No way anyone would ever read that and think it was a joke. Nor do I think it even was. I'm Positive it was serious but now that it's been called out a few times, the story switched to it was a joke.

Isn't it just that you're a bit ignorant and there is a lot wrong with what you say?
You have been put in your place by very experienced keepers and even our beloved moderator and you still think it's us being jerks and we are just finding dirt to throw at you?
It's ok to be inexperienced and obviously you are (even tho you seem to not see it yourself) but don't try to act like you know stuff on a forum where people come to get advice because there's something wrong with their animal.
Bad advise hurts even more than just shutting up about it. I also stick to giving the advise I'm sure about and if I'm not 100% sure I will make that obvious by saying so and google it for confirmation and I'll learn it for myself.
