HELP?!

It's scary when it happens. I was scared when I saw my 1st one. ;)
Since it went back in, I wouldn't be overly worried.

I flipped out, maybe there were two and I just was too crazy to notice. I'm glad you think it's not a huge issue.

As stated, this was a single everted hemipenis. Males will evert one or both occasionally outside of breeding, and as long as they retract it, it is not a problem.

Just out of curiosity, do you know why this happens? Is it the chameleon being relaxed or perhaps stimulated in some way?
 
It can be diet related like hard shell feeders causing straining to poop,or heavy infested parasite,constipated, either due to dehydration, impaction due to a foreign object...etc
