Sorry for asking help again and again..
but i am officially perplexed with my chameleon..
Today my baby chameleon skin become wrinkly!
First it was his eyes (there are concentric wrinkles around his bulging eyes).
and a bit sunken (not sunken all the way.)
then just today i start to see wrinkles everywhere (except for the limbs)
All signs seems to indicate he is dehydrated.
BUT,
poop is moist and normal. No parasite found in it (thru fecal flotation test).
I went to the vet last saturday and she is as confused as i am and told me to wait for a specialist to come this wednesday (my chameleon has been in this condition for a week now)- and i can't do a thing except wait.
I am just afraid that tomorrow will be a bit risky time..
Shower is out of option as my chameleon is still too young (3 months old).
Because i am in fear that he might b dehydrated, I added reptisafe to his drinking bottle according to the recommended dosage (i used filtered water).
But, a day later, a white solid substance came out of his nose! then I stop putting reptisafe in my water anymore and the white powder problem ceased.
My baby still eating fine (18 cricks a day), never seen him drinking until today (i saw him licking the leaves here and there).
so i just don't know what's going on..
I thought that he might be shedding...
Since i do not know first hand how is a shedding process..
I can't tell whether he's shedding or just dehydrated?
What is the difference guys?
Thanks
