help

Welcome to the forums! Check out the Sponsors link above. There are MANY there that sell cages and take Paypall or whatnot.

Welcome to the forum :)
I think most of the sponsors as well as other reptile supply stores accept paypal.

Sounds good. DIYcages sells a 2x2x4 for $99 shipped. In case that is helpful...

yeah i'm getting a 24x24x48 if thats what you ment for my pair of chams

I want a waterfall was going to put like a plastic mesh over the openings to reduce facile matter and crickets dying in it.

What kind of chams? Most need their own cages.

senegals i've been breeding in a 12" x 12" x 18"

but wanting to upgrade to a 24x24x48 to keep both in together not trying to breed anymore.

i've been selling breeds for 13.00 + overnight shipping currently don't have any left but i test the matter and the parasites are 1 to none lately

I love ReptAid for helping on parasites.

Yeah, they should be kept in their own cages.

If you've bred senegals, you might be the first to have done it and get the babies to live/hatch. (That I've read about anyways.) You should probably post your success with the details and pictures.

I bought 2 almost adults from 2 different places put them together in the same cage but gave them enough space to be free. They never really fought and or looked unhappy I've noticed with my pair they liked being around each other.

So upgrading to a 24x24x48 would def give them enough space. Especially in the wild they tend to group up so having 2 in my opinion would make them feel like they was in a natural environment even though it's similar in a cage. I make them get their food for exercise I sometimes let crickets climb to them since they are lazy, but somedays I also put them in a cup at the bottom of the cage so they have to work to get the food especially when they tend to hang up at the top.

and since it's open type of cage I load it down with medium sized moths so they would fly around the tank and make it a more natural environment

Pssh is right.

They do not "group up" in the wild

They are solitary animals, that stress easily.

Stress can cause health problems in chameleons.

Even experienced keepers sometimes have trouble spotting signs of stress.

I highly recommend you house them seperately, and I can garentee you will run into problems eventually if you do not.

12x12x18 is not enough room to be free at all. Keeping them in a small space together is really not a good idea. If you really want to keep them together, they should be kept in a much larger space with adequate room to roam, multiple basking spots, etc. I don't think 24x24x48 is big enough personally. I would never keep multiple senegals in that space. Stress can be extremely difficult to spot and can lead to the demise of your animals.

already had baby hatchlings survive, so I assumed what I was doing wasn't wrong honestly.
