Luck you....

Lighting - people get told a lot not to use 10.0. 5.0 is accepted I think as the norm. You can use a 60 W halogen bulb for basking. I use 45W but my house is normally 80 degrees and thats more than enough heat for me still. Just make sure he has plenty of foliage and if he doesn't have a misting system, you may want to get one eventually.

yeah, for the wattage on the basking light, you have to experiment. I constantly change wattages in order to maintain temps throughout the year. Sometimes I just use a regular light bulb.

I say for UVB get the 24" fixture so it fits nice with your 2x2x4 cage. and get 5.0 Reptisun TUBE/
I live in So California (i'm guessing we share the same climates with Florida). I have no need to use any basking lamp higher than 75 W.
try it out first. Refund it to your local petstore and get the higher/ lower wattage depending on your situation.

other than that, the list is great!
set it all up. Have a try run for a week as if you actually have a chameleon inside the cage. and see if you have problem with drainage or etc.
Fix the problem, then after everything is perfect. buy your chameleon and put him in your perfect enclosure :)

So what do the temps need to be for basking? warmer? and cooler areas? Also whats the best way to feed? I seen some people use cups do you just put the crickets in there and they will learn to eat from that spot all the time?

Crickets I let free roam. Silk worms too. Other worms I use a cup for. If you can tie the cup under his basking spot he'll see them pretty easily. Try and use an opaque cup so he cant see thru it. Else hell try and shoot at the cup from the sides

Basking about 85 is good, no more for a baby. Other areas can be anything just not below 65.

I was just wondering, Ounce a year I go away for one week and I was wondering If chameleons are ok to be left. I know I couldnt leave a small one but like an 8 month+. Would I be able to leave crickets free roam and leave or how would I do it?

I could probably set up a 2l dripper to drip slowly into a potted plant. a 2l bottle with a tiny pin hole would probably work for 2-3 days.

A cham can go about three days without food. But they need to have water everyday. I would try to by a misting system before you leave or get a cham sitter. Some pet stores or vets offer pet sitting services for about $10-$20 a day. When I'm gone for a week I usually feed my cham a whole bunch before I
leave. Then I set up the misting system and get someone to check on the cham in the middle of the week. I also put some crickets aside in a cup so they can throw it in.

whats the cheapest misting system I was looking at mistking.com alot people use those for dart frogs and there 116$.

Howdy Matt,

Take a look at:
www.mistking.com
www.pro-products.om
www.herpmist.com

These three seller have a trusted level of quality in their pumps. Nozzles and tubing vary between their offerings. I like the plastic, color-coded ones. The red and the cream colored ones are commonly used. Now that it has been uncovered that their pumps have a tiny hex screw on the front that allows the pressure regulator to be adjusted, you'll be able to reduce the pressure more to your (my :)) liking.

EDIT:
Let me add pump models...

Pro-products PM-60 or PM-50 (may not be listed but is available.)
MistKing - You want the one that looks like the PM-60, not the other type they sell.
Herpmist - Again, the one that looks like the PM-60.

Howdy Matt,

Save your money and get one of the ones on the list. Many of us bought a Habba Mist and almost all of us ended-up buying one of the ones recommended on the list shortly thereafter. Your chameleon will benefit the most from your choice to invest in a good pump. We'll never see you posting about your chameleon being partially dehydrated .

hahaha.. i have habba mist brand new.. i open it, test it once and stick it in the closet ever since.

Off course i can sell you that thing for lower price as i am trying to get rid of it, but my conscience says to me to tell to you to get those pro products or herpmist pump system :D

i don't think you ever really need to worry about them finding the food. they seem to be remarkably adept at finding their food.
