He's arrived! My first chameleon.

Here he is, my first chameleon! I'm so excited/nervous. And I'm pissed because his cage has been delayed for four days now. I was promised a cage today, but hopefully it will be here tomorrow. Thankfully I've got the proper lights, a dripper, food etc. Right now he's just chillin under the uvb bulb. The dripper's going and I've got silkies in there with him. I'm so nervous, I haven't seen him drink or eat yet (worried first time mommy).

Plus he doesn't have a name, any suggestions? He's 11 weeks old from kammerflage.

He did NOT like the camera. I wasn't paying attention and he made a run for it when I had the screen cage slightly ajar. Since he was already on my hand I snapped a couple shots.

Also it is ok for them to sit directly under the uvb tube? Cuz he's on the screen top right under it.

WTF MOM! Where's my screen cage!

Thanks everyone! I was blown away by how big and colorful he is. I thought an 11 week old would still be small and brown/grey. Shows what I know.

His daddy is Fararano-orana (Autumn Rain) from kammerflage. His mom's daddy is Kely-akondro (Little Banana).

Lol, no full enclosure shot until his cage actually arrives (It'd better be here tomorrow!!!). This has been a bit of a headache with the delays and everything. I'm really happy he arrived safe and sound though.

Right now he's in a 20 gallon fish tank with a screen top. He's got a 75 watt basking light about 7" above the screen lid. He's got a reptisun 5.0 uvb tube. Lot's of fake plants and vines, a dripper, and some silkies in there. He's in a room with several fish tanks, so the humidity outside the cage is about 45% (it's higher inside the cage). Temp away from the basking spot is 78.

Updates, here's his enclosure.

And here's a couple more pics of him...

And I finally saw him drink!!! And I know he's eaten at least a few silkworms and a butterworm.
