Hey bud.. Shed that attitude!

Heh, you should see what snakes are like around shedding time. They have clear scales over their eyes, so the fluid that separates the new skin from the old makes them blind and they get SUPER pissy

I hear ya, got several snakes myself! And they aren't as defensive about their frustration!

Noooo they're not haha. I only have a boa and he's super sweet and is good about giving me a warning hiss if he's not liking what I'm doing. It's crazy how different their two shedding process are (snakes and chams)

I think if I was starting to lose all my skin I'd be testy too. It must be very annoying and itchy.

What do you mean how different.. Is your chameleon sweet through shedding or hissing and angry?

I don't actually have one yet, (I own one but the spastic Colorado weather keeps delaying the shipping:mad:) but from what I've seen and heard, adult chams tend to shed one part at a time to the point that they are kind of constantly shedding, and it flakes off, whereas with snakes its much more of an event and it comes off in one piece

Shakespeare definitely went into full shed and only left a little on his nose at the end. If they don't get all of it shedding at once that sounds like a humidity problem to me.

Who you calling testy. :D
