Hey guys i just joined to find out some basic care guides on veiled chameleons because i plan on getting one soon... I'm a pretty basic teen who loves reptiles sports. Right now I own a 14 inch bearded dragon (chris allen red dachu red sunburst X 100% het hypo) and a harlequin crested gecko. There both wonderful pets and love being handled and loved.
There's just one thing I would like to get straight. A lot of people think just beacause im 14 I cant take care of reptiles. i actually researched on crested geckos and bearded dragons MONTHS before i even went to a store to look at them. I do my research and talk to experts to find pointers on how to be a better herp keeper. I already no a lot about chameleons but not everything so any constructive criticism is wanted and i love being corrected if i say something wrong... i really wanted to start off with a ambilobe panther but i know they can be pricy and are more sensitive than veileds so i think im gonna go with the veiled for my first cham... does that sound right to you guys?
