OK so over the last few days iv noticed my 8 month old female veiled has what look like some kind of dried white discharge around both her nostrils, is it possible for chameleons to get a cold ? or is it something else ill have to take her to the vets over ? it doesn't seem to bother her at all but id rather be safe than sorry when it comes to my lil love ones :)

Its fine and very common. Chams will discharge excess calcium out of there nostrils and it will crust up. Nothing to worry about at all. I'm guessing you use Tap water?

I use boiled tap water yes, My male seems fine but he eats alot less dusted food then she does , shes abit of a greedy girl bless her lol Should i start using bottled water and see if it clears up ? and thanks for the fast reply :)

If you use bottled water make sure it doesn't have minerals added for taste but it won't hurt her and she is fine. If she will let you a damp cotton swab and it will come off. If this will stress her then leave it and she will be fine.

I don't think it is calcium but excess salts and minerals from what I have learned. Some people who think it is calcium might stop using it or cut back for this reason. We don't want this to happen as it may have negative effects on the chameleon's health. I know you did not tell him to do this, but I was just putting it out there for others to who might read this and think they are giving too much calcium.

Actually it's not calcium. Some reptiles have a salt gland near the nose to get rid of excess salt from their diet and this causes that white crusty buildup around the nose. It's not a sign of illness unless she is showing other symptoms.

If the crusts bother you or your chameleon then gently wipe them away with a moist q-tip.

I'm sure you are right that its salts/minerals. So is it from the actual diet or from the water?
