Weight alone doesnt mean all that much, imho. You have to take into account the animal's frame, as well! My Lily, a female panther, is barely 58g. On some Panthers, that'd be markedly underweight! However, because of Lily's petite figure she's borderline obese and I'm very carefully monitoring her food intake.

So, we'd need pictures to tell you how he looks.

i think it looks older than 4 months...
He is most definitely 4.8 months as we got him from Northampton reptile center and they said he was ready to be sold at 3 months but there was a change of plans and he was sold to us when he was 1.5 months old and there are photos of him when he was a week old Over a month before I got him and he was 1 or 2 inches only. Also when I first got him he was a bit on the small side but then shot up

Body condition looks good - he's a bit of an early bloomer, assuming correct hatch date! I've always liked translucents and pieds :)

Cool, thank you. The funny thing is shadow is my first chameleon and I was lucky enough to get him he is also hypermelanistic (black patches) which is even rarer as it is a reccissive gene. Also for some reason he has a rather unusual orangey coloration Which is weird. Also do you know the difference between translucent and pieds because I never found the difference.

Pied refers to the white, unpigmented portions on an otherwise normally colored animal - piebald is the opposite, where an animal is largely white with pigmented spots! Translucent refers more to the "washing out" of color, and the clear/"skin colored" spots.

That's my understanding, anyway! I could be off base.

Seems that many translucent chams are also pied!
