Hi, Got my first Yemen Cham Today, first post!

Oh cool, thank you! how long does it take them to start having a wander round? Also, how often do they move about, or do they usually stick to one area?

Sorry for all the questions, its just I couldn't find much on the forum about activity levels and I've been through almost everything I think!

Really it depends on the chameleon. I have had new ones wander around, or new ones that just hang out and bask. My new Oustalet that I got yesterday is exploring everywhere. Even after you have them for awhile they will go through different patterns of activity. My male Oustalet is very predictable-he is not the roamer that my female Nosy is. My male Veiled-"Leon" by the way-great name-sometimes wanders, sometimes basks, but always sprints for the front of the cage if he thinks I am going to open it!

lol, you have a Leon too? we were watched the film 'the professional/Leon' last week, and had already decided to get a chameleon, so watching that gave me the idea for the name. Kinda fitting as the film version was a pretty good marksman, and the obvious name connotation!
