Hello everyone!..Please accept my apologies for not posting up an intoductory hello till now...SO RUDE! especially after already posting up stuff!
Anyhoo...HI!!
I`m a UK newbie..Im just hitting the slightly concerning age of the big 5-0
but managing to fight off the temptation to wear clothes that might give the impression that i`m "DOWN WITH IT" whatever "IT" is...
In my younger years. I was the owner of a large UK reptile importing business and owned several Reptile sprecialist shops as well a Vivarium company...GOD BLESS THE 80s!! Rolled up sleeves on suits. Espadrille sandal shoes and Pastel colours aka Miami Vice..(Apologies to all my new American friends!!) During these early days my interest in Chameleons took hold...but i didnt really get the opportunity to develop it further...however now..many years later..after retiring from the "Reptile World"" for some considerable time. and getting "A PROPER JOB"..then getting hitched. and amazingly being responsible for creating a "SON".. circumstances prevailed. whereby I would find myself as someone termed "A SINGLE PARENT"..what that really means, is that i was lucky enough to share the last 16 years bringing up my son Jon..and warping that fragile mind to realise that all reptiles are cool!!..So now, im in the fortunate position to effectively do as I please..with Jons help..and my pleasure is to build up a really nice collection of Chameleons..as each day passes. i get to meet so many nice people with the same interests. and my collection grows steadily. I started, as most do..with a pair of Veiled Chams..called RIO and JEWEL. then recently i added a pair of young Oustellets..(Still to be named)and now...im getting ready for a gorgeous adult captive hatched pair od Mellers Chameleons....LIFE DOESNT GET BETTER!!
So....thats me....expect loads of comedic posts ( I believe in smiling a lot..its better than frowning)
and thanks so much to everyone so far for all the encouraging responses to my trials and tribulations in getting stuff right!!!
