Hi, New here

i think im going to buy some digital scales tomorrow..il let u know what he weights tomorrow..he use to eat about 7 medium sized locust on a good day and some flies..hes defiantly not feeding as much in the last 2 days//im worried..il weight him tomorrow ok and let u know the results.

If he is eating 2 large locust that would be like 4 med or so.

At this age they will start to slowdown on eating a little. At 6 months I switch to everyone day feeding.

I would worry if he wasn't eating at all. I think he is fine. Is he showing any other symptoms if a problem?

Hehe, cheers mate, very helpful :D
Also, i have heard males tend to be more agressive than females, or can be more agressive, is this true?
I plan on breeding mine also, what age should he be before he is bred? Guessing the age is differnt with females? as it is with most Lizards

John

not sure..mine isnt aggressive one bit..but i handle mine every single day for about 10-20 mins..mine only hisses at me when i take him out of the cage.

Welcome Jonie!!!

Yeah Macro... Ryan is right.

Babies, while they are young and growing, exchange food weight with body weight at an incredible rate. This is why they say in the baby months it is said you should feed your cham just about as much food as they will eat. Babies will eat more crickets then you thought you could fit inside them, As they start getting older I think 7 med Loctuses would be over feeding. I think you are safe... As they mature it is completely normal to see a slow down in their appetitite as they are no longer growing as rapidly.
