I know all hibiscuses are safe but are all hibiscus hybrids safe too? I got this plant for Monty, my veiled, already pesticide free. I can't figure out if it's safe. So many different things come up when you google "chameleon safe hibiscus hybrids" but nothing even related to that. Here's some pics. It's a "Jazzberry jam" Rose Mallow hibiscus hybrid.View attachment 61220View attachment 61221View attachment 61222 it's big and has a ton of buds ready to bloom. It has leaves that are maple tree-like. Its shiny cuz I just sprayed it btw. Hope you can help

Yes its safe. However its a pain in the ass to keep alive. I'm using a plant aquarium T12 bulb to try and keep it alive but its not helping. All of the leaves are falling off! And on top of that, there are little, tiny flies around the plant. They kind of look like fruit flies but are smaller. Gross! Im about to say screw it and buy a fake plant :(

You need a LOT of light to keep hibi's inside! Talking serious lumen to keep it healthy! I tried once and failed! Resulted to the standard classics (pothos/umbrella/ficus).

My Hibiscus is doing just fine! I just keep my cage by a window. Socal weather may have something to do with it though!
