Hibiscus Plant - Recommendations needed

Any recommendations from all you smart people as to how I would keep a hibiscus plant alive in a Cham's enclosure?

Yes, use a 6500k flourescent bulb in conjunction with your reptisun uvb 5.0. The combo makes an enormous difference. You will be very pleased with the flowers on the hibiscus. I use a fixture made by Utilitech, it holds both bulbs.

Several years ago, I bought a hibiscus shrub - I still have it in my cham enclosure to this day and it has done well. I do have a plant light along with my Reptisun. I have purchased several of the hibiscus trees, but they have not done as well as the shrub. I could'nt tell you why, but the shrubs seem hardier. Hope this helps

I just wanna give a heads up about this fixture from Lowe's. Yes it is cheap and works....but keep your receipt. I have only had one die on me, but i've never had a fixture go bad on me and I have several...... maybe 9 or 10 fixtures total (not all the same brand).

Another thing to keep in mind with these cheaper fixtures is that the 'reflector' isn't that great and can use some help via aluminum foil. This helps increase UVB output inside the cage, making sure all the light goes down.

so what im saying is.. they are cheap, they work, but need some help. and keep your receipt.
