Is the game that I had to play today; I had just finished up the mellers brand new free range and what did I do? I forgot to put up the gate, DOH! Now granted I did not think any one of them would have gone on a walk about so soon however sure enough coming back in to clean up after lunch I find the branches missing little Moe Mellers the Juvi male. In the new reptile shop we have A LOT of potenchial hiding places however I guessed that he probably ran for the trees under the cracked open garage door. He had a plethoria of trees and shrubs to pick from... I spent at least 2 hours looking for the little bastard inside and out, spraying everything with the hose looking for movement then finally I gave up because it was just not the right time of day to see the contrast. At about 6:30 dusk sat in and I went and checked my #1 tree, and sure enough there was Moe up in the top looking down giving me the stink eye. Darci got home at just the right time to see me get poked about a million times pulling the branches down to get that darn chameleon. Needless to say Moe got a spanking and will not be getting any horn worms till Friday. Bad Chameleon!

Moe came out just fine however I came out with pokes everywhere and little darn leaves in my cloths, ears and hair. Hooray for freerange! LOL.

Cell phones are getting pretty darn good cameras in them these days!

It's called a Mesquite tree...they grow a lot here in the desert! That was so funny...I got home from work and chad was going nuts. I was like what on earth are you looking for? And then he told me Moe was missing so we were looking around and he finally spotted him waaayyy up in that tree! I'm glad we found him!!
