Hmmmm...

A photographic comparison might be helpful.

Could some people post some six month old Female Panther photos along side some six month old Male Panthers? I am fairly sure I dont want any cham-porn:eek:, so please keep it tasteful, but body shape and coloring differences would be great.

By profit motive, I mean exactly that. A good pet store makes money by transferring information to their customers (hopefully) in a way that promotes business and improves the life for both animal and keeper. Other pet stores can make even more money by housing as many animals as possable and keeping them moving through the store for maximum profit, without regard for the animal or the keeper.

Who on this website is making money for there advice? I helped somebody a few days ago, wheres my royalty check?!? There isnt gonna be any check for me. Thats OK too. Like many here, I only want to be helpful. I am sure there are bills associated with running such a nice website, so money must be changing hands somewhere. Perhaps the sponsors benifit from the advertising that would naturaly occure here, and that is wonderful. I have bought a large portion of my supplies from then and I am glad they are available.

As far as my own 'petstore guy', I read him as a fairly honest fellow, that overestimates his own knowlage. My next cham wont come from him though. Crickets and other small supplies, I may get if I need something quickly and its hanging from his wall when I need it. Other purchases I make will be ordered from LLLreptile or another site sponsor.

Photos of your panther boys and girls would be appreciated. :D

Most Petstores make money in the second way you mentioned and not the first unfortunately!

Here are pictures I took and posted today of 6-7 month old Panthers-hope it helps!

Well like I said the replacement that he sent me he said was 5 months old and it was so small I thought it could only be a month tops. Plus it had an infertile clutch in the first month. So I asked him how old it was a second time. He then said we sell 1 month olds all the time. Then said" We use a power feeding method where we feed them to the maximum." ( No wonder she had an infertile clutch) I thought that seemed off a bit.

hhhmmmmm power feeding method? I wonder what that is?

Make it obveyous...

to me the difference between a six month old male and a female Ambilobe Panther.

I was hoping to get some pictures, but the thread got a little hijacked.

Maybe Ill start a new thread specific to the subject of male and female differences.

It is obvious? The second to last poster gave you a link to the post they put up earlier of their male and female panthers. I think someone may be in denial :p

Hmmmm... Again

Im at my work computer. Sometimes I can see photos, and sometimes I cant. Ill have to check it out when I get home I guess. My bad !!
