Home made cricket waterer

I want to build my own cricket watering kit similar to this style has anyone done something like this?

What ways do you guys supply water to your crickets other than soaking a paper towel or sponge

I use the water pillows. They are easy to deal with and you can reuse them many times if you keep em clean.

I'm also a huge fan of the crystals although I've not tried the pillows. Do the pillows have issues with cricket poop diffusing into them?

I like that I can just throw out the crystals if they get dirty or a cricket decides to die in them.

I dont order large amounts of crix right now so i dont have that problem. I just rinse mine out every 2-3 days and they last me a few weeks. I use them for my dubias also. I know some dont offer their roaches water but ive seen them drinking from the pillows.
