Back panel was 1/4 red oak that was glued to frame and coated with about 5 coats of polyurethane and sealed with aquarium grade silicone. Glued to that backboard were two large pieces of Exo Terra Cork Board. Screen is perforated steel with 1/4" holes off center (not cricket proof - lol), but much more aesthetically pleasing than regular screen. I then had the perforated steel powder coated, white. What materials did you use for the screen and the back panel?
Try 'Michaels' Arts and Crafts. Bought the lighter color. Stained them and then clear coated with a couple coats of polyurethane, Built braces to have them seated securely.I love the sticks you used. I can't find them near me without paying out the nose for them.
Just wanted to keep the plant container hidden as much as possible, for aesthetics. Thanks!Very nice! why the false floor? I like the look, but it appears over kill. I LIKE overkill...
Thanks. Will do. I'm learning. Plan on purchasing a cabinet to anchor beneath the enclosure. We shall see.Definitely make sure that the end product (BEFORE CHAMELEON) goes up higher somewhere.... chams feel safer when they can get up and away....
