Hoping he turns out to be a good looking boy

I never post pics of him since his colors haven't came out yet but I figure this is the best place to do it. 3 month old baby boy. I'm trying to tame him the best I can but I don't really take him out because he puffs up all the time in his enclosure but today he finally climbed onto a stick and onto my hand had him out for 15 mins today while I cleaned. All I can say is progress ! I'm hoping he has beautiful colors like his sire did can really tell just yet tho

If you want to try to get him comfortable with you/being out you can try opening the cage then going on about your day while in the room with him if that makes sense. Like I used to open the cage door and then go sit on my bed and read a book or clean out my closest. It took a while sometimes if I looked at him he would go back in so you need patience and nothing better to do lol. And then after he would come out I would let him explore and only use my hands to help him or move him to a safer place. Then after I would give him some sort of worm before he went in so he would associate outside time with good things.

That's actually a really good idea giving him a worm before going back in ! I hand feed him crickets in the cage but I didn't think of feeding before going back in as a treat ! Thanks for the tip I appreciate it !

He looks great already at 3 months!! Just give him time, and keep working with him. He will more than likely get used to you. Some never tolerate handling, but most of them will eventually give into it and will willingly crawl to you when you open the age door.
